I am happy to work with students seeking internship credits, if applicable.

Hours are flexible and most tasks can be done on your own time, as long as deadlines are met.

  • This is the hardest part of the job description, in my opinion. I want to list terms like “self-motivated” “flexible” “curious” and “creative,” because those are fantastic traits for this job.

…but a list of adjectives feels a little too blasé. So let’s just be honest with each other, yeah?

This business is my baby. And like any mother, I want to hire someone who thinks my baby matters, and will do their best keep it safe when they’re holding it. Of course my baby is not your sole responsibility: it’s mine. But please do not apply if you’re going to roll your eyes at my baby and ignore it when I ask you for help.

    Oh and this:

Candidates must have regular access to a working smart phone and computer with reliable internet.

About Abby, Founder of Hofrichter Creative LLC

Hi! I’m Abby.

I've been working in social media and content creation in some way or another for eight years now. I go by "Founder" of Hofrichter Creative LLC but my title changes almost every other day from Content Creator to Social Media Strategist to Accountant… you get it! At the moment, I am working solo. I have had one awesome intern in the past and am excited to be starting the search for another amazing part-time team member.

I founded Hofrichter Creative in 2018. While working for small social media agency, I began to realize there was a pretty big disconnect between the quality and style of social media support small businesses actually needed versus what was being offered. I wanted to give small business owners a way to offload the stress and workload of running a successful social media presence without asking them to let go of the personal touch and community-focused approach that makes their businesses so special.

Many of my clients are in the hospitality industry: bars, restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, etc. Thats because when I wasn’t studying Journalism, writing blogs and doing photography, I was working one of my many service industry jobs as hostess, server, bartender, food runner, and even a cook at an all-you-can-eat dining hall for two semesters in college! Oh: and I was a Craft Beer Sales Rep. So if you’re 21+ and drink beer: bonus points.

When I’m not on my phone or laptop, you might find me teaching or taking an indoor cycling class at RINSE Cycle in Downtown Dayton, zooming around on my rollerblades, watering my plants or snuggling with my two dogs watching lots and lots of movies. It’s a simple life, but a good life.

I cant wait to meet you.
